Brigade deepens its North Hyderabad presence with a new 5.6-acre residential address in Kompally.
Discover MoreBengaluru-headquartered Brigade Group has taken another confident step into North Hyderabad. The listed developer has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to build a premium residential project on a 5.6-acre land parcel in Kompally, one of the city's fast-growing residential corridors. According to the company, the project will have an estimated revenue potential of ₹850 crores.
The move is aimed squarely at meeting rising housing demand in this part of the city. As Brigade explained, the proposed residential development will cater to the rising demand for high-quality, sustainable, and modern living spaces in North Hyderabad. The developer has indicated that the parcel will be shaped into something more than just another apartment complex, with plans to transform this land parcel into a landmark residential community that blends architectural excellence with world-class amenities.
Speaking on the announcement, Amar Mysore, Executive Director, Brigade Enterprises Limited, said, "Hyderabad is a vital growth market for Brigade, and our commitment to expanding our footprint is evident in the consistency of our new projects in the region. The city's robust economic momentum, driven by thriving technology and infrastructure sectors, makes it an ideal market for us." He added that the developer's approach to land acquisition remains disciplined: "As we further scale our operations, our focus will continue to remain on acquiring strategically located land parcels that not only offer high growth potential but also strictly align with the core principles, governance, and ethical standards that we stand for."
This Kompally deal does not stand alone. It follows closely on Brigade's other Hyderabad moves this year. The current acquisition comes close on the heels of the previously announced four-acre project in Neopolis that is in an advanced design stage. Just a month earlier, in April 2026, Brigade Group had acquired a 5.72-acre land parcel in Hyderabad through a recent auction conducted by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC), acquired at ₹44 crore per acre, excluding registration costs. Together, these deals point to a clear pattern: Brigade is steadily assembling a larger residential and mixed-use footprint across the city rather than making a one-off entry.
The scale of ambition is significant. The company will deploy around ₹5,000 crore in Hyderabad in the coming three to four years, strengthening its expansion across residential, commercial, hospitality and retail. Brigade's Hyderabad story goes back further than this recent flurry of deals. Brigade Group earlier had marked its debut in Hyderabad with Brigade at No.7 in Banjara Hills, expanded with Brigade Citadel in Moti Nagar and continues to strengthen its presence with Brigade Gateway at Neopolis, a 4 Million sqft premium mixed-use development, and Brigade Enclave and Brigade Manor in Moti Nagar.
For homebuyers tracking North Hyderabad, the Kompally announcement is worth watching closely. The area sits along a corridor that has seen steady infrastructure upgrades and is increasingly favoured by buyers looking for relatively larger plots at prices lower than the western IT corridor. While configurations, unit sizes, and launch timelines for the new Kompally project have not yet been disclosed, the ₹850 crore revenue estimate on a 5.6-acre parcel suggests a fairly dense, premium development is on the cards. As with any JDA-stage announcement, prospective buyers should wait for RERA registration and formal project details before making commitments, but the entry of an established, listed developer like Brigade into Kompally is itself a strong signal of the locality's growing appeal.
Brigade's broader Hyderabad strategy also gives context to what buyers can expect. The developer's existing Hyderabad portfolio spans price points and formats, from low-rise, low-density living in Moti Nagar to large mixed-use townships like Brigade Gateway at Neopolis. If the Kompally project follows a similar philosophy, buyers can likely anticipate a well-amenitised community rather than a bare-bones apartment block, though final details will only be confirmed closer to launch.
