Brigade Group — Building South India Since 1986

Brigade Group traces its roots to 10th October 1986, when the foundation stone for its maiden project, Brigade Towers on Brigade Road, was laid by founder M.R. Jaishankar, comes from humble beginnings, belonging to a reputed family of coffee planters from the hill town of Chikmagalur, in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. What started as a single-project partnership firm has grown into one of South India's most respected real estate names, with a track record of 280+ completed projects and over 86 million sq ft of developed space across residential, commercial, retail and hospitality segments.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, the Brigade Group also has operations in Mangalore, Mysore, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chikmagalur, Ahmedabad and a representative office in Dubai. The company's landmark projects include Brigade Millennium, described as the first mixed-use community in Bangalore was Brigade Millennium in 2002, and Brigade Gateway, which the founder himself called our best project yet is probably Brigade Gateway, undoubtedly the most integrated city-centric mixed-use project, nowhere in the world does one come across residential apartments, club, offices, school, mall, hotel and hospital, all within one campus close to the centre of the city.

Brigade went public in 2007, and today Brigade Enterprises is listed on the NSE and BSE, with net sales rising to Rs 7,847 crore in FY25 compared to Rs 6,013 crore, a 31 per cent increase y-o-y, while total collections stood at Rs 7,250 crore during FY25, an increase of 23 per cent over FY24. The company continues to expand aggressively, having launched residential projects totaling around 3 million square feet with a GDV of nearly Rs 3,200 crore in the first half of FY26, with plans for residential launches of almost 7 million square feet in the second half of FY26.

Beyond real estate, Brigade has diversified into hospitality, education and property management. Brigade Group provides property management services, hospitality and education across several major cities in South India, and the group also owns Brigade Foundation, a not-for-profit trust. The company also built and operates the World Trade Center Bangalore, World Trade Center Chennai and World Trade Center, Kochi, holding the WTCA licenses for all the major South Indian cities, reflecting its ambition to shape not just homes but entire city skylines.
