Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR is a landmark hospitality development being brought to life by Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited (BHVL), part of the Brigade Group, in partnership with Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited signed a management agreement with Hyatt for Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR, a premier beachfront hotel on the scenic southeastern coast of India. Positioned on an expansive site along East Coast Road, the property is designed to bring an international-standard beach hospitality experience to Chennai's most scenic coastal stretch.

With plans to open in 2029, Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR will debut on an expansive beachfront site, offering an exclusive and immersive stay with approx. 200 guest rooms, five distinct dining venues including a signature restaurant, two specialty restaurants, a pool bar, a lobby lounge, wellness facilities, and multiple sophisticated event spaces. The hotel facilities will cater to premium leisure and business travellers and will be ideal for wedding buy outs, staycations and MICE.

This marks Brigade's first collaboration with Hyatt. Nirupa Shankar, Managing Director, Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited, said the project marks the company's first collaboration with Hyatt and reflects its focus on expanding hospitality developments in Chennai. The development strengthens Brigade's growing hospitality portfolio, which already spans nine operating hotels across Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi and Mysuru, and reinforces East Coast Road's emergence as a premium hospitality and leisure corridor near Chennai.

As a hospitality asset rather than a residential offering, Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR is being developed for hotel operations and MICE-led business, not for individual apartment sale. It represents one of the most ambitious beachfront hotel projects announced on ECR in recent years, alongside a broader wave of hospitality investment along this coastal belt.
