Six new luxury hotels, 940 rooms, five premium brands across South India.
Discover MoreBrigade Hotel Ventures Limited has signed an agreement with Marriott International to open six hotels (940 rooms) in four markets across India. The portfolio expansion will feature properties under five globally recognized Marriott Bonvoy brands: The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott.
The six hotels are: Courtyard by Marriott Chennai World Trade Center, Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru International Airport, Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Brigade Valencia, The Ritz-Carlton Vaikom Island Kerala, JW Marriott Chennai OMR and Thiruvananthapuram Marriott Hotel World Trade Center. Courtyard by Marriott Chennai World Trade Center is scheduled to open in fiscal year 2027; two Fairfield by Marriott hotels in Bengaluru are set to open in 2028; the luxury Ritz-Carlton Vaikom Island in Kerala in 2029; and JW Marriott Chennai OMR together with Thiruvananthapuram Marriott Hotel World Trade Center in 2030.
With this signing, Brigade reinforces its nearly 15-year partnership with Marriott, further strengthening a successful relationship. Along with Sheraton Grand Bangalore at Brigade Gateway and Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark, this brings the total to eight hotels with Marriott, totaling 1,388 keys.
Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited is an owner and developer of hotels in key cities in India primarily across South India, and is the second largest owner of chain-affiliated hotels and rooms in South India. BHVL recently launched a $101.2 million IPO, including a $14.4 million pre-IPO placement.
This investment is a major component of the firm's broader strategy to deploy ₹3,600 crore across its hotel portfolio over the next three to four years, targeting key business and leisure locations including the Courtyard by Marriott Chennai World Trade Centre, the JW Marriott Chennai OMR, and the Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR. The deal reflects strong confidence in India's hospitality market, particularly across South India's key business and leisure destinations.
