Brigade Group Deepens Hyderabad Push with New Rs 850 Cr Housing Project

Brigade Group has once again put Hyderabad at the centre of its expansion plans. The Bengaluru-headquartered developer has announced the signing of a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) to build a premium residential project on a 5.6-acre land parcel in the high-growth corridor of Kompally, North Hyderabad. According to the company, the development carries an estimated revenue potential of Rs 850 crore, making it one of Brigade's more significant recent commitments to the city.

The announcement, made in May 2026, adds to a string of moves that underline how seriously Brigade is treating the Hyderabad market. Amar Mysore, Executive Director, Brigade Enterprises Limited, said that Hyderabad is a vital growth market for Brigade, and the company's commitment to expanding its footprint is evident in the consistency of its new projects in the region, pointing to the city's technology and infrastructure-led momentum as a key driver.

Brigade's plan for the Kompally land parcel is to build a residential community centred on modern, sustainable living, responding to the rising demand for quality homes in North Hyderabad as the corridor benefits from improving road connectivity and steady commercial activity nearby. While detailed configurations, unit sizes, and launch timelines are yet to be announced, the developer has indicated the project will emphasise premium construction standards and lifestyle amenities in line with its other Hyderabad launches.

This Kompally JDA is only one piece of a much larger Hyderabad strategy. Brigade already has an established presence across the city, spanning Brigade at No.7 in Banjara Hills, Brigade Citadel in Moti Nagar, and the sprawling 4-million-sq-ft Brigade Gateway at Neopolis in Kokapet. The developer has also recently launched Brigade Manor, a low-rise residential project near HITEC City in Moti Nagar, and Brigade Barcelona, a single-tower luxury address in Neopolis, Kokapet. Taken together, the company is understood to be deploying close to Rs 5,000 crore across residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail projects in Hyderabad over the next three to four years.

The timing of this expansion is notable. Micro-markets around the city's western and northern growth corridors, including Kokapet, Narsingi, Gachibowli, Nanakramguda, Financial District, and Tellapur, have continued to dominate buyer interest, supported by IT expansion, Outer Ring Road connectivity, and upcoming Metro Phase II extensions. Residential prices in the broader Hyderabad market rose sharply through late 2025, and the Rs 1 crore-plus premium housing segment has seen particularly strong absorption, a trend that developers like Brigade are clearly positioning to capture.

For homebuyers, the Kompally announcement is a signal worth watching rather than an immediate booking opportunity, since the project is still at the land-agreement stage and RERA registration, pricing, and floor plans have not yet been released. Buyers interested in Brigade's Hyderabad portfolio today have more immediate options in projects like Brigade Barcelona in Kokapet and Brigade Manor in Moti Nagar, both of which are further along in their launch cycles.
