Brigade Misty Greens Launches in Mysuru

Brigade Group has announced the launch of Brigade Misty Greens, a premium residential development in Mysuru through a Joint Development Agreement. The project spans 4.5 acres and carries a projected revenue potential of over Rs. 300 crores, making it one of the more significant residential announcements to come out of the city this year.

The development is positioned in Kurubarahalli (Chamundipuram), off Maharanaprathap Road, and is located near the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club and the iconic Chamundi Hills, giving residents uninterrupted green and hill views, an offering rarely found in the Mysuru residential market. According to Brigade's project page, the site is roughly 3 to 4 km from the city centre, about 6 km from the railway station, and around 10 km from the airport, placing it within comfortable reach of Mysuru's commercial and civic hubs.

The timing of the launch coincides with a broader uptick in Mysuru's real estate momentum. In an earlier statement on the company's Bogadi Road land acquisition, Shankar pointed out that the city has witnessed a clear uptick in real estate activity in recent years, especially following the improved connectivity brought about by the Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway, and described Mysuru as the largest Tier 2 market in Karnataka that continues to attract discerning homebuyers seeking a high quality of life. Brokerage house Motilal Oswal has also flagged this shift, noting that while Bengaluru will remain Brigade's primary revenue driver, the firm expects geographic diversification to cities like Chennai, Hyderabad and Mysuru to account for a meaningful share of presales in the near term.

Brigade Misty Greens adds to an already active pipeline for the developer in Mysuru, which includes ongoing residential projects, a large land parcel on Bogadi Road near the proposed Outer Ring Road, and the recent entry of BuzzWorks, Brigade's managed office arm, into the city's commercial market. Together, these moves signal that Brigade views Mysuru not as a one-off opportunity but as a long-term growth corridor, backed by improving infrastructure and rising demand for premium housing.
