Chamundi Hills, Mysore

The Chamundi Hills rise on the eastern edge of Mysuru city, and the neighbourhoods spread across their base have long been among the city's most sought-after residential pockets. The Chamundi Hill is located 13 km east of Mysore, Karnataka, India, with the Chamundeshwari Temple located atop the Chamundi Hills. The temple has drawn pilgrims and visitors for generations, and living in its shadow means daily views of forested slopes, cooler air and a genuine sense of heritage woven into everyday life.

Mysuru itself sits right against this landscape. Situated at the base of Chamundi Hills, Mysore is the third-largest city in the state of Karnataka, only 130 kilometers from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, and is home to the Mysore Palace.
